We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Builder Sales Specialist to join our outside sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the construction industry, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of driving sales in a competitive market environment. As an Outside Builder Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with builders, contractors, and other key stakeholders to promote our products and services, generate leads, and close sales.

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration within the builder segment.
  • Identify and prioritize key builders, contractors, architects, and influencers within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients through regular communication, site visits, presentations, and networking events.
  • Understand the unique needs and requirements of the single-family, multi-family, and property management spaces and provide customized solutions to meet their specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including delivery, service, and purchasing, to support sales initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a relationship with our vendor partners to ensure the best options for each project
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasting and reporting to management
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times, adhering to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, building codes, and project management processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with the construction industry.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with maintaining CRM software
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Previous experience in the appliances industry is appreciated but NOT required
