About The Position

The primary objective of the Site Finder (SF) is to expand our position in the marketplace by soliciting and obtaining permission from property owners to allow Planet Aid to place our clothing collection boxes on private and public properties. The primary method of accomplishing this will be through door-to-door prospecting, cold calling, conversations with potential site hosts, and employing aggressive sales initiatives and persistent sales techniques. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other responsibilities may be assigned): Achieve sales targets: Obtain new sites to meet weekly and monthly quality bin placement quotas. Conduct prospecting and lead generation: Identify potential businesses within the designated territory and create a target list of prospects to approach for sales opportunities. Initiate contact with potential clients: Approach businesses in-person and introduce Planet Aid and bin collections and create interest in potential partnerships. Deliver persuasive sales pitches: Effectively communicate Planet Aid’s values and mission, tailoring the pitch to address their specific needs and pain points. Identify quality sites: Place bins that are positioned to attract active donations and bring value to communities. Keep accurate records: Maintain comprehensive records of all interactions, client data, contact management, and other tracking methodologies. Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously update knowledge of the industry, competitors, and market trends to better understand customer needs and to stay ahead of market changes. Collaborate with the sales team: Coordinate with other members of the sales and territory management team to share best practices and strategies. Uphold ethical standards: Conduct all sales activities with honesty, integrity, and professionalism, adhering to company policies and industry regulations. Report potential issues: Notify management of any Site that needs repair, service, or maintenance, addressing minor issues immediately if necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree and two years B2B sales, marketing, fundraising experience or educational equivalent, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong internet and general computer skills
  • Motivated, energetic, and positive outlook
  • Driving record that meets Plant Aid’s insurability requirement
