About The Position

The Outreach Liaison is responsible for developing and coordinating service-line sales, referral and relationship building activities. Sales activities should target specific provider audiences with specific services as identified annually with organizational leadership. Identifies and establish long- and short-term strategies relating to sales and service-line objectives, retention of existing business and development of new business. Responsibilities

  • Outreach Liaison: In collaboration with the organizational leadership, obtains, evaluates, analyzes, and interprets utilization data for hospital services and ensures that growth and relationship priorities are identified.
  • In collaboration with organizational leadership, identifies key targets and develops plans, strategies and objectives for assigned territory and services.
  • Effectively and efficiently organizes, assembles and arranges resources to meet priorities.
  • Presents and gains support and commitment from Organizational leadership, Service Line Leaders, Facility Leaders, and Medical Staff, as needed, for the sales plan.
  • Executes sales and retention strategies and plans; tracks activities; reports on activities and issues; successfully closes new business in accordance with predetermined targets.
  • Works with service line leaders and PR/Marketing to assure sales communication is in alignment with service-line specifications and marketing strategy.
  • Identifies needed sales materials and has the Public Relations and Marketing department produce sales materials.
  • Shares service line information and marketing materials with practices as requested.
  • Completes face-to-face meetings with physicians and practice managers, ensuring that a thorough understanding is gained regarding the physicians' desires and needs.
  • Completes follow-up meetings with physicians, practice managers, and/or other providers as needed to close new or additional business, ensuring that internal and external obstacles to business growth and retention are identified and minimized or eliminated.
  • Prepares and presents monthly reports, identifying trends, additional business opportunities, and obstacles to new business growth.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Workforce Wellness – Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine Location:
  • Completes meetings with clients via all mediums possible to ensure that a thorough understanding is gained regarding the physicians' desires and needs.
  • As well as completing any follow-up meetings, ensuring that internal and external obstacles to business growth and retention are identified and minimized or eliminated.
  • Completes written agreements / contracts for services to include working with department leadership and legal services to negotiate pricing, and applicable fee schedules.
  • Maintains complete and accurate company profiles and EHR accounts to ensure all critical data elements are obtained and input correctly in required areas to ensure efficient, accurate and complete billing.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the various components offered by Monument Health for business-to-business services, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Shows competency is effectively using the computerized scheduling for appointments and ancillary services per established patient access protocols.
  • Schedules appointments promptly and courteously and makes all attempts to meet the client’s expectations.
  • Per determined by contract terms.
  • Reviews client accounts monthly or as need in collaboration with client billing caregivers to determine accuracy of bills for services related to the patient's visit.
  • Efficiently resolves Client accounts through all assigned work queue items to ensure accurate and efficient claim submission.
  • Accurate posting of charges and payments to accounts for contracted services.
  • All other duties as assigned.
