About The Position

The Outreach Coordinator serves as the lead for coordinating all program outreach and recruitment activities aimed at enrolling participants in various services offered by PathStone. This role is essential in enhancing participants' access to community resources and contributes to the overall goals of the team, which focuses on delivering client services such as employment, training, and advocacy.

Requirements

  • Up to three years of training and/or work experience in job training and employment or a relevant area.
  • Knowledge of issues affecting rural, unemployed, previously incarcerated, high school dropouts, and farmworker populations.
  • Working knowledge of computers and record keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire full knowledge of all services available through PathStone.
  • Maintain and monitor complete and accurate records and files on all Outreach participants.
  • Compile and submit reports on Outreach Activities in a timely manner.
  • Recruit and enroll clients for training and employment opportunities, assisting them in utilizing these opportunities.
  • Provide updates on training and employment participants in case management records and meetings.
  • Analyze and interpret assessment results.
  • Synthesize labor market information, participant assessment results, and employment barriers to formulate an employment and training plan of action.
  • Assist in development area.
  • Disseminate program information to employers and service agencies.
  • Coordinate case management to ensure goals and objectives are met.
  • Travel to areas where participants are located to inform, recruit, and enroll individuals.
  • Screen participants to clarify alignment of individual and program goals and objectives.
  • Ensure participants' eligibility prior to Outreach enrollment.
  • Initiate development of written individual client employability plans.
  • Collaborate with agency representatives, community groups, and area employers to determine employment trends and demands, and facilitate referrals.
  • Ensure participants receive training and employment services within ten days of enrollment into the Outreach program and meet assigned program goals.
  • Attend assigned conferences, seminars, and classes to maintain and upgrade skills.
  • Enhance personal knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Seek and act upon performance feedback.
  • Make appropriate corrections and additions to ensure accurate Outreach Count.
  • Establish an emergency and supportive services network.
  • Review and coordinate the completeness of all enrollment and termination paperwork for Outreach Participants.
  • Review monthly Management Information system reports for accuracy.
  • Market training programs and develop placement opportunities for job-ready participants.
  • Develop, organize, and conduct Outreach information sessions for potential participants and community members.
  • Coordinate Outreach among diverse programs to maximize community impact.
  • Develop and conduct Job Readiness training.
  • Coordinate and develop training for Outreach Staff as well as for participants.
