This role will be key in ensuring that all students at UMass Boston have equitable access to the Honors College, by creating clear pathways to join Honors for a wide range of students on campus, coordinating orientation and first-year programming, and mentoring students. This position will be key to promoting success and retention. The position will focus on providing equitable access to the Honors College for students from underrepresented groups, transfer students, Boston public school students, and students from pre-collegiate pipeline programs. With its mix of recruitment and admissions, coordination of first-year programming, and mentoring, this position will improve student success and enhance UMass Boston's reputation in having an Honors College that provides rigorous interdisciplinary coursework and research opportunities to students across all majors, who reflect the campus-wide UMass Boston student body.
