RIDGEVIEW , a not-for-profit community mental health center, has an immediate opening for an Outpatient Therapy Team Lead at our Jamestown, TN , location. The schedule will be 8am-5pm on weekdays. This position is perfect for an early career social worker or counselor wanting to gain leadership experience while receiving supervision toward LCSW or LPC-MHSP licensure. Requirements

  • Possession of Social Work, Psychology or Counseling Degree (Master’s level or above).
  • Must be eligible for licensure by the State of TN to practice independently and pursuing that independent license.
  • Position requires a minimum of four years experience working with clients suffering with mental illness and/or substance use issues and prefers a minimum of two years supervisory experience.
  • Must be trained in providing trauma-informed treatment with willingness to apply a person-centered approach.
  • Team Lead must possess excellent interpersonal skills to work with people from differing backgrounds and cultures.
  • Comfortable and competent using televideo equipment to provide mental health and substance use services.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership for the clinical components of the RCORP-BHS program and supervises the work of that clinical team.
  • Ensures oversight of casework, documentation, processes and professional issues of other members of the RCORP-BHS team, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
  • Provides screening and assessment, mental health and substance use treatment services, including the use of Mobile Telehealth Carts, to Pickett and Fentress Counties.
  • Engages in program outreach and recruitment, representing the RCORP-BHS program in the local community.
  • Coordinates warm hand-offs for both internal and external referrals.
  • Facilitates multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and collaborates with other members of the RCORP-BHS program in task team meetings developed to improve clinical care.
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy services.
