About The Position

Easterseals PORT Health’s mission is to improve the lives, health and well-being of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Outpatient Therapist to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient therapy and and medication assisted treatment team designed to provide therapeutic support to adults and youths in Kinston, NC. Your Role in Our Mission As a Outpatient Therapist on the team , you will utilize screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments to develop client treatment goals and person-centered plans (PCP’s), which will include input from the clients regarding treatment and diverse after-care plans. You may also provide services to individuals and groups with substance use and mental health struggles to include initiating contact and working with family members or support systems in the care process. Requirements

  • A Master’s degree and mental health licensure are required. LCSW (A), LCMHC (A), LMFT (A); Dual licensure preferred LCAS (A)
  • Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel
