As an Outpatient Therapist at High Plains Mental Health Center, you’ll provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients with a wide range of mental health needs. You’ll conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer evidence-based support. Requirements

Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)
Current Kansas BSRB licensure as one of the following: o Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Master Level Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist o Licensed Master Social Worker (clinical track) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker o Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with Mental Health Training track (or equivalent experience) o Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist
Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurability requirements (if using Center vehicle)
Ability to pass all required background checks and pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy for individuals, families, and groups, addressing diverse mental health needs with compassion and expertise.
Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify client needs and establish a strong foundation for effective treatment.
Design and implement personalized, goal-driven treatment plans that empower clients and promote measurable progress.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and community partners to ensure seamless, coordinated care and holistic support for clients.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation that meets agency standards and supports continuity of care.
Engage in ongoing professional development through regular clinical supervision, constructive feedback, and active participation in team meetings—helping you achieve your personal career goals and setting you up for long-term success.
