About The Position
Family First Community Services LLC is a community behavioral health clinic in Charlotte, NC. We provide mental health and/or substance use treatment to child/adolescent/adult populations in Mecklenburg County and surrounding areas. We are looking for an Outpatient Therapist to join our team and provide mental health services to our adult clients. The successful candidate will have a background in mental health counseling and be able to provide evidence-based treatments such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and other therapies as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to assess the needs of each client and create individualized treatment plans that meet their needs. THIS POSITION REQUIRES AT LEAST A MASTER'S DEGREE AND PROFESSIONAL LICENSE TO PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES SUCH AS LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, LMFT, AND ASSOCIATE LICENSE OF THESE.
Requirements
- THIS POSITION REQUIRES AT LEAST A MASTER'S DEGREE AND PROFESSIONAL LICENSE TO PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES SUCH AS LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, LMFT, AND ASSOCIATE LICENSE OF THESE.
- Must be able to pass a 7 year-background check.
- We also conduct pre-employment drug screening.
- Any job offers will be based on the results of background and drug screening.
- Ability to commute/relocate: Charlotte, NC 28206: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups.
- Assess mental health issues and diagnose mental health disorders.
- Develop treatment plans for clients.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate services for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress.
