About The Position

Easterseals PORT Health is on a mission to transform lives, and we want you to join our dynamic Outpatient Therapy Team (OPT) in the Mount Airy area! As a valued team member, you'll play a vital role in providing holistic services that empower patients to take control of their lives and thrive. As a Licensed Clinician on our OPT team, you'll be the driving force behind the well-being and success of our clients. Your clinical expertise and experience will shine in: Screening, assessment, and goal development Delivering one-on-one and group sessions in our outpatient clinics and in the community Recommending and coordinating supporting services Building strong relationships with clients and their families
Requirements
- Full or provisional licensure: LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT
- Prior mental health and/or substance use experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques as well as their practical application in an outpatient setting
- Be able to work independently
- Be adept at problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis
