About The Position

National Counseling Group (NCG), an ncgCARE partner, is seeking full-time and part-time Outpatient Therapists to provide therapeutic services to individuals, families, and communities in the Harrisonburg, VA area. This role involves offering case management, crisis intervention, psychological evaluations, and wraparound team support. We are a premier provider of community-based behavioral health services in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Compensation: The listed salary range is based on achieving a standard of 25 billable hours per week. Licensed Eligible or Resident: $58,000 - $61,600 Fully Licensed: $61,600 - $65,200 Unlimited Earning Potential Final compensation will also depend on factors such as education, licensure level, experience, and other qualifications.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed or license-eligible in Virginia (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Resident in Counseling).
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage services for clients, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support.
  • Develop individualized, written service plans to address clients' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide immediate support and intervention during mental health crises.
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and write diagnostic assessments, including those for behavioral, substance abuse, and economic self-sufficiency issues.
  • Organize and lead team meetings to ensure coordinated care among providers and natural supports.
