About The Position

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is currently looking for a Licensed Counselor or Social Worker to join our team of dedicated professionals. Who We Are The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a 156-bed private behavioral health system located on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina Area. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, The Carolina Center serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina. Programs are available at various levels of care to accommodate the severity of every patient’s condition: inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: To develop and administer a comprehensive intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization program, Suboxone program or other outpatient programs that responds to the community’s need and supports the organization’s overall mission, philosophy, and goals. To integrate the management of the intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization program, Suboxone program or other outpatient programs into the Carolina Center’s continuum of care.

Requirements

  • Master's degree is social work, psychology, mental health counseling or related field is required. Licensure required
  • Zero- one (0-1) year of experience required.
  • Successful completion Management Aggressive Behavior Training (HWC) before on the unit orientation and prior to assisting with restraining procedures.
  • Successful certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association for CPR prior to taking an independent patient assignment.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of related experience preferred.
  • Experience in psychiatric hospital setting preferred
