Outpatient Therapist - LAC / LSW

Therapists have the opportunity to work with clients through individual, group, and family therapy, while also collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes Prescribers, Case Managers, and Peer Specialists. Legacy Treatment Services offers outpatient mental health services for those who could benefit from improvements in mental and behavioral health. Our Outpatient Program offers a comprehensive and personalized approach to mental illness.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in counseling field with at least one year of experience preferred
- Licensed to practice therapy in New Jersey
- LAC or LSW required
Responsibilities
- Plans for discharge and aftercare
- Maintains contact with referring agencies, treatment team providers, and related people, and with the community resources used for referral
- Maintains treatment records
- Assesses and interprets data about the consumer’s status in order to identify each consumer’s needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the consumer group
