Adolescent Counselor – Part-Time Location: High Focus Centers – Lansdale, PA High Focus Centers is a trusted provider of outpatient behavioral health services in southeastern Pennsylvania, offering comprehensive and individualized care through our specialized programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. We serve both adults and adolescents, with a focus on mental health, eating disorders, and co-occurring concerns. We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Adolescent Counselor to join our Lansdale clinical team. This role focuses on delivering individual therapy to adolescent clients in an outpatient setting. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field.
  • Completion of a clinical based internship or practicum.
  • Expertise in adolescent mental health and co-occurring conditions
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Ability to engage teens in meaningful therapeutic work
  • Effective communication with families and support systems
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
  • Commitment to ethical standards and clinical best practices

Responsibilities

  • Providing individual outpatient therapy to adolescent clients
  • Facilitate group therapy to adolescent clients
  • Conducting clinical assessments and developing person-centered treatment plans
  • Collaborating with families, schools, and referral sources to support client progress
  • Monitoring behavioral and emotional needs and adjusting treatment as clinically indicated
  • Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Participating in clinical meetings and care coordination
  • Supporting program goals and performing additional clinical duties as assigned
