The Connecting Young Moms Program at Beverly Hospital provides comprehensive support for teens and young women before and after giving birth. CYM works with young mothers to develop healthy and positive parenting skills through health and parenting education, community resources, and peer support. This is a free program offered by Beverly Hospital’s Maternal/Child Health Department. The CYM program provides emotional support, education about the physical and emotional changes during and after pregnancy, parenting education and skill building, assessment of family needs, and coordination of resources. Job Description: The Clinical Social Worker reports directly to the manager of Parent Education/Special Care Nursery. The social work role is essential for maximizing the quality of care for our clients facilitating peer support groups, connecting women with community resources, planning activities to promote engagement and healthy parenting opportunities, and other clinical case management needs. The successful candidate will have an interest in woman's issues, teen parenting, child development, and support group facilitation.
