Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology is desired.
• Strong listening skills and understanding of telephone etiquette are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls from patients, providers, and other departments to schedule appointments.
• Utilize the practice management system to register patients and schedule appointments for over 300 providers and 1500 procedure types.
• Make outbound calls to patients to schedule outpatient procedures as per physician orders.
• Handle a variety of customer inquiries and provide accurate responses using appropriate resources.
• Maintain a high level of organization and detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate expert understanding of scheduling procedures related to various modalities and tests.
