About The Position

The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patients involvement in his/her own plan of care and reducing the length of hospitalization, The staff nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement , the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost effective care. The Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model. The Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) at the Powell Outpatient Care Point (OCP) provides comprehensive nursing care across all phases of the endoscopic procedural experience, supporting a diverse patient population undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy. This location features five endoscopy procedure rooms designed to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This is a first-shift position with a 36‑hour workweek, scheduled as four 9‑hour shifts. The role requires flexibility, critical thinking, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care within an ambulatory endoscopy setting.

Requirements

  • 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing
  • Current Ohio licensure or interim permit

  • Previous surgical center experience preferred
