Job Description Summary: Schedule: Monday - Friday, No weekends & No holidays • 7:30am - 4:00pm Joining the Urology team in this role would be a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients who are seeking treatments for conditions affecting Urological conditions. Working in a facility that provides comprehensive care for patients from the beginning of their medical journey through to their recovery can be incredibly rewarding. As a part of this team, you would be working alongside five Urologists, two APPs and a team of nurses, collaborating to provide top-notch care to patients. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you can grow and learn every day. One of the exciting aspects of this role is the exposure you would gain to a variety of procedures, including cystoscopy, vasectomy, prostate biopsies, and more. Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse health care settings. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree: Nursing
• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or Current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification
• In Maternal Fetal Monitoring settings, RN must obtain EFM certification within one year of hire

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; as part of a multidisciplinary team, revises plan of care based on evaluative data.
• Leadership - Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
