About The Position

Inova Cardiology Arrythmia Clinic Lab is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Greater than one year of RN experience in addition to prior Cardiology Nursing background such as in IMCU, PCU, Tele, CVICU is preferred.
• Must be proficient with EKG rhythm identification

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties necessary to clinic or non-acute operations to include:
• Full Intakes
• Reconciliation of Medications
• Patient Education
• Stress Testing (Regular, Echo and Nuclear)
• Helping patients manage INR
