Job Summary Rivia Mind Psychotherapists provide clinical services and psychotherapy to patients through a primarily telehealth environment. Our practice leverages clinical experience and a diverse knowledge base to provide quality care and reliable service. This individual will utilize their expertise in Psychotherapy modalities (i.e. CBT, MI, DBT, etc.) to provide access to reliable, quality care in the communities we serve. Cross-Department and Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration of Operational Support, Psychotherapists, Psychiatry Nurse Practitioners, and Psychiatrists Supportive, Warm, and Accessible to one another and our patients Clinical Supervision towards Independent Licensure High-Touch Patient Care and High-Frequency of Sessions A multi-faceted approach considering all aspects of a patient: bio, psycho, social - 360 degree approach Our practice has expanded, and we have established an office in Boston, Massachusetts! Just two blocks from the Boston South Station Supervison Weekly Group Supervision Case and peer discussion, knowledge sharing, guidance, etc. Frequent 1:1 Supervisor/Supervisee meetings Weekly Education Meeting Case presentations, guest speakers, training, etc. Work Location: Hybrid (1+ Days per week on-site based on preference and demand, remaining days remote) 186 Lincoln Street, Boston, MA 02110 Application Window: End of January, 2026 Anticipated Start Date: Early 2026 # of Openings: 2

Requirements

  • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or Mental Health Counselor (MHC). Candidates who are license-eligible and on track for independent licensure may also be considered.
  • Massachusetts State Licensure
  • Education Details: Master's in Social Work or Counseling/related field
  • Experience practicing as an LCSW or MHC
  • Experience practicing Psychotherapy (Practicum experience included)
  • Multi-Disciplinary Teamwork
  • Proficient with utilizing diverse technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software and EHR platforms when applicable)
  • Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude required

Nice To Haves

  • NJ, CT, and NY licenses are a plus, but not required
  • Modality Certifications preferred
  • Additional Language Fluency is a plus
  • Experience or desire to work with Couples is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent quality clinical care on a consistent basis that exemplifies Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles
  • Service and maintain a weekly standard of patient sessions
  • Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plans
  • Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.)
  • Provide clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environment
  • Coach patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provide therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes
  • Counsel and provide crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems
  • Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation
  • Participation in Rivia Mind supervision groups, trainings, and attendance of department and organization meetings
  • Promote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that benefits individuals' well-being, self-improvement, and potential
  • Perform other related role and team function duties as assigned by department and group leaders
