Foundation Health Partners is actively recruiting an ambitious Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Outpatient Behavioral Health team. The Opportunity: Step into a fulfilling role as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Foundation Health Partners (FHP) Behavioral Health Clinic, where you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive mental health services. In this position, you will conduct initial evaluations and provide medication management for both new and established patients, including initial diagnoses and ongoing treatment planning. Requirements

  • Must possess knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of master’s degree in nursing.
  • Must be approved to practice as an Adult NP (ANP), Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health NP (APMHNP), or Family Psychiatric & Mental Health NP (FPMHNP), by the State Board of Nursing by proof of license/certification.
  • Requires current RN license in state of practice.
  • Must be certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing within a particular population as a nurse practitioner.
  • Requires personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board of nursing.
  • Depending on business need/area of focus, this position may require graduation from an ACNM accredited nurse-midwifery education program, as well as a current NRP certification.
  • Additional technical and professional certifications may be required based on type of nurse practitioner and scope of delineation document under medical staff services for an individual facility.

Nice To Haves

  • DNP or PhD preferred.
  • Current BLS certification preferred.
  • Previous relevant experience preferred.
