About The Position

Cedar Hills is looking for our next Outpatient Program Therapist to join our team of great people! We have expanded our reach with a new location located in the heart of Salem, OR! The work location for this position is: 1321 Tandem Ave NE, Salem, OR 97301 How You Will Make an Impact: Outpatient Program Therapist The Program Therapist carries a caseload of 20 PHP/IOP patients. A program therapist will run group therapy for 20 hours per week and meet individually with clients on their caseload. Individual meetings with patients will take place for various reasons, including treatment planning, aftercare planning, and crisis intervention. This is a full-time salaried position, Monday - Friday. Sign on bonus available! Requirements

  • Education: a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or equivalent is required.
  • Licensure: Clinical licensure (i.e. LPC, LCSW, LMFT) is not required, but a Master's Degree (as described above) is
  • Additional Requirements: CPR certification, Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
  • Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire.
  • May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience: Preferred: 1+ years in behavioral health.
  • Experience in group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
