About The Position

Branches Portland is hiring for an Outpatient Program Therapist. A successful therapist will facilitate productive and beneficial groups, support their patients transitioning into and out of the program, coordinate successfully with outside providers, and complete documentation efficiently. Outpatient Program Therapists carry caseloads of about 20 patients that are enrolled in the Partial Hospitalization Program(PHP) or Intensive Outpatient Program(IOP) levels of care. The responsilbilites in this role include; running group therapy for 20 hours per week, meeting individually with patients for case management/individual therapy needs, participating in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings, and documenting all services (i.e. group, individual, etc.). Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed behavioral health hospital and outpatient services program that serves adults facing an acute behavioral health crisis related to issues of mental health, substance abuse and substance use disorder, as well as co-occurring disorders related to these circumstances. Our programs aim to provide lasting mental health rehabilitation through programs that re-establish a high quality of life.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related degree
  • License preferred, not required (i.e. LMFT, LCSW, or LPC).
  • 1-2 years of experience, preferred
