About The Position

The Outpatient Program Assistant oversees general clerical and support functions for the outpatient programs at Rolling Hills Hospital. Responsible for maintaining overall office organization, supplies, and medical record audits and upkeep. Includes monitoring patient attendance, follow up and referral calls, data entry, discharge planning, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement high school diploma
• Current HWC and CPR Certification
• One or more years of experience in a psychiatric setting is preferred.
• excellent telephone etiquette and tact
• ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crisis or resistant or negative toward organization
• effective oral and written communication skills
• basic data entry skills preferred
• organizational, time management, problem solving, crisis management skills necessary
• flexibility, creativity, and ability to manage stress necessary

Nice To Haves

• Prefer bachelor’s degree in health care, mental health, recreational therapy, education, or human growth & development
