BayCare's South Florida Baptist Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The therapist will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or managing chronic conditions. This role supports BayCare's mission of clinical excellence, dignity, and respect in every patient interaction.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree required or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program preferred.
• Licensure: Current Florida Physical Therapist license or eligible to obtain.
• Licensure: Temporary Physical Therapist license and licensure within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver outpatient physical therapy services using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Supervise and provide clinical direction to Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and students.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and BayCare standards.
• Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education.
