About The Position

The Outpatient Physical Therapist at Sutter Health is responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs aimed at improving patient mobility, relieving pain, and enhancing strength. This role involves effective communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to regulations and delivering optimal patient care. The therapist will also provide clinical supervision to assistants and aides and serve as a clinical instructor for students.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program or equivalent with a valid PT license.
• BLS certification as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
• 2 years of recent relevant experience in physical therapy.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in computer and required technology.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
• Additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques.

Responsibilities
