Are you a passionate Physical Therapist looking to make a difference? FirstHealth of the Carolinas, a nationally recognized health care system headquartered in Pinehurst, N.C., is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient clinic. Patient-Centered Care: Spend 45-60 minutes one-on-one with each patient, focusing on orthopedic cases, as well as those with generalized weakness or balance issues. Requirements

Educational Background: Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
Licensure: A current Physical Therapist license in North Carolina.
Certification: CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, Develop, and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized plans for patients with orthopedic issues and those experiencing generalized weakness or balance problems.
Provide Hands-On Therapy: Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions using a variety of techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
Document Patient Progress: Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Work closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
Work with a Multidisciplinary Team: Join a large team of experienced Physical Therapists (PTs), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs).
Educate Patients and Families: Provide education on conditions, rehabilitation, and the importance of ongoing self-care.
Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure a supportive and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Engage in Professional Development: Participate in workshops, conferences, and team meetings to stay current with best practices and continue your professional growth.
Pursue Continuing Education: Show interest in continuing education to develop specialty programs and contribute to program development.
Mentor Clinical Students: Take on the mentorship of clinical students to help shape the future of the profession.
