About The Position

Thompson Health is seeking a dedicated individual to assist in the nonprofessional aspects of preparing and distributing medications while performing clerical duties within the department. All medication-associated duties will be conducted under the direct supervision of licensed personnel, specifically Registered Pharmacists. This position offers a per diem schedule, with hours that could range from as early as 8 AM to as late as 6 PM, including some Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. Requirements

  • High School education with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques for IV preparation.
  • Ability to work with hospital information systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service and support consistent with the health system's goals.
