About The Position

Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services, in partnership with Indian Health Services (IHS), is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a high-impact opportunity at Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility in Belcourt. This is a well-compensated, full-time contract role with long-term stability and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. This is a 1099 independent contractor role offering a 1-year contract with strong extension potential, giving you the chance to serve an underserved community while maintaining professional flexibility and autonomy. The position is located in Belcourt, ND.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (any U.S. state accepted)
PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
Minimum 1–2 years of pharmacist experience
Experience with EHR systems
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be able to pass a federal security clearance
Required immunizations must be up to date

Nice To Haves

Current BLS certification
Outpatient or hospital pharmacist experience

Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations
Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions
Collaborate with providers and healthcare staff to optimize patient care
Monitor patient drug therapies and make recommendations as needed
Maintain accurate records using the electronic health record (EHR) system
Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety standards
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
