About The Position
The Outpatient Retail Pharmacist Lead – Same Day is responsible for providing safe, accurate, and patient‑centered medication services in a Meds to Bed hospital retail pharmacy. This position dispenses prescriptions, counsels patients, manages workflow, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides exceptional customer service. The Outpatient Retail Pharmacist Lead – Same Day is a critical member of the healthcare team that coordinates medication services with hospital and clinic staff for safe and effective patient care. In addition to staffing the position works in coordination with pharmacy leadership on activities including, but not limited to, scheduling, caregiver performance reviews, regulatory compliance, payroll review, and attending various meetings as requested.
