Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree required.
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved post-graduate residency in Pediatrics.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida.
• Current, unrestricted Florida state specific DEA license.
• Current Board Certification appropriate for degree or be Board eligible and certified within five years of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as required for hospital appointment.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Pediatric practice experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric care during weekend shifts.
• Cover Saturday morning from 8am to 12pm.
• Participate in healthy newborn rounding options.
• Provide acute care on Sundays from 12pm to 5pm.
