Sodexo is seeking a full-time Pediatric Dietitian Nutritionist to join the supportive team at Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Children’s Clinic in Allentown, PA.   • Provide individualized one-on-one Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to pediatric patients and caregivers through evidence-based nutrition care
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team regarding the patients’ overall nutritional care plan
  • Stay current with evidence-based practice regarding the management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Perform quality improvement initiatives
  • Mentor to dietetic interns
  • Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in PA
  • RD with experience in pediatrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively engage, motivate and influence others regarding their nutrition
  • Time management skills, be a self-starter and a team player
  • Commitment to continued education in the nutrition field and implementation of new and innovative ideas
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
