About The Position

Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, CD and the Adult population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is currently searching for an Outpatient Office Manager. The Patient Access and Admisions Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for the IOP, including performing clerical duties, attending departmental and clinical meetings, coordinating medical staff activities, maintaining medical staff files and records, and providing support relating to personnel matters as required. This is an hourly, non-exempt position, Monday thru Friday.

Requirements

HS required; Associate's Degree preferred with 1-3 years experience, 3-5 preferred.
Knowledge in IOP procedures, JCAHO, policies and procedures, scheduling patients, prioritizing workloads, etc.
Computer and software programs, fax machine, copy machine, telephone and paging system, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office, Software systems for managing patient records, billing and compliance.
This position as with other patient care positions requires physical mangement training and CPR.
