Organization: Outpt Oncology Pharmacy Job Summary: Provides expert leadership in a specialized healthcare team and the patient to assure optimal cost-effective drug therapy. This includes developing specific pharmacotherapeutic goals, recommending a regimen and developing a monitoring plan to meet the individualized drug therapy needs of the patient. Position Highlights Provides critical oversight of patient safety which directly impacts patient care in the outpatient Oncology Clinic space. Collaborates with clinic providers, nurses, and APPs to make clinical decisions regarding patient treatments that are specific to oncology. Must have oncology specific training. Monday - Friday day shift hours. Key Responsibilities Coordinates the delivery of clinical pharmacy services in assigned areas (in concert with Operational Managers). Ensures the quality, safety, and consistency of clinical pharmacy services in assigned areas. Develops and implements clinical programs designed to enhance patient outcomes and promote the most cost-effective utilization of medications. Develops and implements educational programs that advance the professional development, knowledge and effectiveness of staff and clinical pharmacists.
