About The Position
Brooks Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Outpatient team. This role is ideal for professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experts in the field to help facilitate personal and professional growth and provide superior patient care. Locations: Clermont, Osceola & Oviedo Outpatient Clinics Department : Outpatient - Float Team Hours: Mon - Fri; PRN hours between 8A-5P
Requirements
- Current OT license in state of Florida
- Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification
- Experience preferred, will consider a new grad
- Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements
- Ability to prescribe, fit, and fabricate orthoses as needed preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete the new patient evaluation, establish customized treatment plans and patient goals, and participate in the implementation of patient care programs
- Deliver and manage high quality patient care for multiple diagnoses
- Maintain a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment
- Effectively communicate skills both verbally and in writing
- Promote evidence based patient care
