About The Position

BJC Medical Group has a Neurology opportunity to join BJC Medical Group Neurology at Belleville. This growing group has an established team of 3 Neurologists and 2 Neurology APPs and is located just minutes from Downtown St. Louis. We offer a $30,000 signing bonus, relocation, a 2-year income guarantee, and much more. The practice highlights include 36 clinical hours per week, outpatient only with support of a Neuro-Hospitalist team for inpatients, and the option for some inpatient work if preferred but not required. The position allows joining an existing growing practice with a full-scope practice of Neurology procedures available, but not required. The EMR system used is EPIC.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Medicine
• Experience in Neurology

Nice To Haves

• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
• Fellowship training in Neurology

Responsibilities

• Manages the medical care of patient panel by providing or arranging for inpatient hospital care of physician's patients.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the care team to ensure excellent patient care outcomes.
• Performs and documents medical histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital medical staff bylaws.
• Provides or arranges for call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage.
• Collaborates and teaches advanced practice providers, support staff, or any care team member assigned in the care of physician's patient panel.
