Sunset Counseling Services is hiring a full-time Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our clinical counseling team. We are a community-focused counseling practice dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health care to children, adolescents, adults, and couples. This is a W-2 employee position with a comprehensive benefits package, clinical supervision toward licensure, and full administrative support designed to let you focus on what you do best: client care. POSITION OVERVIEW As a full-time outpatient therapist and counselor, you will carry an active caseload and provide direct clinical services approximately 40 hours per week from our office location. You will deliver both in-person and telehealth therapy sessions to clients, with all services provided on-site from our office. This is a Monday through Friday position with no on-call responsibilities and no weekend hours required. Your weekly schedule will include: A minimum of 30 face-to-face clinical hours per week providing individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities Approximately 9 hours per week dedicated to clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plan updates, and required recordkeeping 1 hour per week participating in a team clinical consultation meeting to support professional development, case collaboration, and continuity of care CLINICAL FOCUS Our agency serves children, adolescents, adults, and couples across a wide range of presenting concerns. We do not expect every clinician to work with all populations; we encourage you to focus on the clients you are most skilled and drawn to serve. Our highest areas of clinical need include anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Please note that we are not a substance abuse treatment facility and do not provide services where substance use is the primary diagnosis.
