Responsibilities

• Collects blood from patients of all ages as required by physician orders including difficult patients.
• Accessions lab orders as appropriate.
• Processes blood to prepare for testing in all laboratory areas.
• Performs Point of Care testing.
• Responds to phone inquiries in a timely manner and is a resource to others.
