About The Position

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System's outpatient mental health services offer flexible, effective treatment for patients struggling with both mental health and substance abuse issues. We provide structured behavioral health treatment while allowing adolescents to continue spending time with their families and fulfilling other commitments in their communities. Our goal is to help patients develop new skills to overcome addiction and improve their mental health for a better future. The Therapist is a key member of the Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System social services team. The Clinician/Therapist/Counselor is responsible for performing a variety of direct clinical duties in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. These include, but are not limited to, group, individual and family treatment modalities. Excellent judgment and clinical skills are essential for this position.

Requirements

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in human relations or clinical field such as social work, psychology, or marriage and family counseling.
  • An active license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, CSW or LPCA) in the state of KY.
  • Two years working in a human service organization with inpatient or outpatient psychiatric or chemical dependency populations preferred.
