About The Position

OUTPATIENT COUNSELOR - SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER IN OUR CHAMBERSBURG, PA OFFICE OR CARLISLE, PA OFFICE Currently offering evening shift differentials, weekly productivity bonuses, and sign on bonus. This is a Monday through Friday position with day and evening hours (2 evenings per week). Roxbury is proud to be able to offer a unique opportunity to a skilled individual to be a part of regenerating the Outpatient Substance Use Program. A successful candidate will be a compassionate individual whom will put their clients treatment first, efficiently priority/time manage, and effectively offer treatment at the Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field – OR –
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field and one year of clinical experience – OR –
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field and two years of clinical experience - OR -
  • Licensed RN with 1 year of counseling experience in a health/human services field – OR –
  • Certified additions counselor

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining caseload meeting the needs of the patients and following regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure completion of all required paperwork (i.e. psychosocial summary, treatment plan, progress notes etcetera) as outlined by regulation both accurately and timely.
  • Provides evidence-based and other approved counseling techniques and interventions to facilitate client success.
  • Offer assessment, individual, and group sessions.
  • Provides appropriate interventions to facilitate engagement of non-compliant patients.
