Why We Need You As the Outpatient Coordinator, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for clients during their pet’s visit. You’ll guide them through the appointment process from start to finish, ensuring a smooth, informed, and supportive experience. You’ll also work closely with our medical team, gaining valuable exposure to veterinary medicine and playing a key part in the coordination of patient care. The Outpatient Coordinator is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for: Welcome and support clients throughout their visit. Act as the liaison between clients and the medical team. Assist with scheduling, check-ins, follow-ups, and client communications. Ensure timely flow of outpatient appointments Support doctors and technicians during exams and treatments, as appropriate. Maintain accurate records and provide updates to clients in a compassionate, professional manner. Continuously build your knowledge of veterinary medicine through on-the-job learning. Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
