About The Position

We are seeking a Coordinator, Outpatient to support non‑clinical functions essential to effective case management services within a high‑volume call center environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting Case Managers by coordinating scheduling needs, outreach, documentation, and administrative functions that directly impact member care. Responsibilities include assisting with scheduling medical appointments, durable medical equipment, home health services, eligibility and benefit verification, requesting medical records, completing accurate data entry, and reviewing medical management reports. A key component of this role involves telephonic outreach to members to introduce and invite them to Case Management programs. Success in this role requires consistent accuracy, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to function well in a fast-paced call center setting. Requirements

  • Experience in data entry, customer service, or call center operations
  • Familiarity with medical records and medical terminology
  • Experience supporting patient care or medical workflows (non-clinical)
  • Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to identify and report data inconsistencies
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced call center environment

  • Healthcare or insurance experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support Case Managers by coordinating non-clinical tasks essential to case management operations
  • Work in a call center environment making outbound and receiving inbound member calls
  • Schedule medical appointments, DME, home health services, and other support services
  • Perform eligibility and benefit verifications
  • Request, track, and manage medical records
  • Complete accurate and timely data entry
  • Review medical management reports and identify discrepancies
  • Conduct outbound telephonic outreach to members regarding Case Management programs
  • Maintain accurate and reliable case, data, and reporting documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to support departmental needs
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect all PHI
