About The Position

Responsible for providing clinical assessment and treatment services to clients with a variety of mental health issues. Works collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide optimal, quality services to clients. Responsible for completion of client medical records, in compliance with regulatory standards. Develops discharge plans and linkages aimed to encourage functioning within the community.

Requirements

• Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a master’s degree in social work and two years of previous supervised work related experience plus three to six months of on the job training and orientation.
• Licensure required as an LCSW by the State of New Jersey OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the State of New Jersey.
• Work requires the ability to prepare detailed assessments of patient referrals, counseling individual, group or family members, or perform other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skill.
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office.
