Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work, required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of three (3) years experience in advanced clinical/management practice preferred.
  • Experience in Personnel Management and Staffing preferred.
  • License eligible required, LMFT, LCSW, ADC or LPCC preferred.
  • A strong knowledge of JCAHO, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
  • CPR certification, and successful completion of the hospital’s designated behavioral and physical management training program, including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint required prior to assisting in the procedures.

Nice To Haves
