Requirements

  • 3-5 years work experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Graduate of a University/Program with a Doctorate Degree of Medicine or Osteopathic – MD or DO.
  • Current California Medical License – MD or DO.
  • Unrestricted Current DEA Registration.
  • Current California Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Certificate of Registration.
  • Current medical staff member at Shasta Regional Medical Center or meets all credentialing requirements in order to obtain privileges.
  • 2 years Medical Director experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all medical care and quality of services provided at the clinic.
  • Serve as a member of the Medical Management Staff and collaborate with the Leadership team.
  • Ensure consistent quality of care to patients of the clinic by quality goals.
  • Provide delivery of medical services to their own panel of patients in a primary care environment.
  • Participate in the Graduate Medical Education (GME) and teaching of residents.
