About The Position

Primary role focused on providing compassionate, evidence-based outpatient therapy to hospital and clinic referred patients from diverse backgrounds as well as varying medical and mental health needs. Patients are referred from Primary Care as well as a number of specialty clinics (e.g., Feeding, Diabetes/Endocrine, Concussion/Neurology, Genetics, Cardiology, Neurodevelopmental Services) within the hospital. The position will also entail a role in providing therapeutic supports in embedded specialty partnerships within the organization based on need, which may include direct patient care, collaboration with larger medical teams, or program development. Opportunities for supporting the inpatient consultation-liaison service will also be available.

Requirements

Licensed or licensed eligible psychologist in Minnesota.
Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D.) in Psychology and completion of a clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship from an APA-approved program
Demonstrated excellence in patient care, consultation, and collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Be able to function effectively and efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one year of clinical experience working with chronic health conditions or in a health psychology-related setting
Interest in providing training and supervision in our postdoctoral fellowship
