About The Position

Cedar Hills Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Professional to join our team. The Outpatient Tech position is a support services role. A good candidate is one with behavioral healthcare experience, direct patient/customer service experience, administrative and computer capabilities. The work location for this position is: 1321 Tandem Ave NE, Salem, OR 97301 Who We Are: Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed, freestanding psychiatric hospital and outpatient center specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatment. Cedar Hills Hospital provides a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients. Our inpatient and outpatient services offer supportive and compassionate care through specialty programs tailored to meet the needs of our patients. Our hospital mission is to provide safe, effective, and compassionate mental health and substance abuse treatment to those in need. What We Offer: The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base rate of pay and minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma required. College degree preferred.
  • Licensure: None required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Orienting new clients to the outpatient program, providing explanations on consent paperwork/HIPAA/etc.
  • Phone coverage
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Front desk coverage
  • Completing UAs
  • Providing basic support services to patients (i.e. scheduling, questions, case management, etc.)
  • Administrative support
  • Some medical record functions
