About The Position
The Adult Outpatient Mental Health Team provides therapeutic services to adults/youths experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and co-occurring substance use. This internship placement offers practical training in community-based behavioral health, with weekly clinical supervision provided by a licensed mental health professional.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct client support through skill-building and community engagement.
- Assist in creating and implementing recovery-oriented service plans.
- Help connect clients with housing, employment, and social support.
- Participate in clinical team meetings and documentation practices.
