About The Position

The Outlet Team Member at Goodwill North Central Texas is responsible for operating the POS system according to company guidelines and following all cash handling procedures. This includes registering merchandise through the cash register in the proper department, counting down the cash drawer, making correct change, and operating the credit card terminal. The role requires providing excellent customer service, answering telephones at designated times, and keeping cash wraps clean, neat, and organized. Team members will also use Softline and Hardline tippers to fill tables with outlet store products, move tables to various work areas, and meet established daily production quotas. Additionally, they will sort items accurately and efficiently from outlet tables into bins for commodity sales and perform all necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the store. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Operate POS system and credit card draft terminal
• Read, write, and possess good math skills
• Successfully operate various types of equipment for material handling after in-house training
• Team player mentality with the ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals/quotas
