The Outlet Team Leader at Best Buy is responsible for assisting the Outlet Manager in the daily operations of the Outlet Center. This role focuses on supporting various aspects of the business including sales, merchandising, inventory management, and enhancing the customer experience. The Outlet Team Leader plays a crucial role in coaching and mentoring the Outlet team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional service.

  • Support Outlet operations to enhance customer and employee experiences.
  • Oversee day-to-day activities of the Outlet store including sales, merchandising, inventory, and services.
  • Coach and mentor the Outlet team to foster a strong sales culture focused on achieving customer and financial goals.
  • Assist in driving positive outcomes for key performance indicators related to Revenue, Margin, and NOP goals.
  • Collaborate with the Outlet Manager to lead sales and store business rhythms.
  • Engage directly with customers to drive NPS results and sales, supporting team interactions.
  • 1 year of sales or customer service experience.
  • Prior experience in coaching and providing feedback to others.
  • Ability to carry/lift/push/pull weight up to 75 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience, including task scheduling and performance management.
  • 6 months of experience selling complete solutions in a retail environment.
  • Experience in providing sales training and mentorship to team members.
  • Previous experience in asset protection or safety training.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or inventory management.
  • Prior experience in account reconciliation or cash handling.
